Nuctemeron is an audiovisual piece of nine small acts that poetically explores the relationships between the different durations of the day/night cycle of the planets of the Solar System and the Moon. Each act is ruled by a star, so that the duality day/night of each one is displayed in speed proportional to the daily duration of the regent star.

At the beginning, in the stellar space, there were several fragments which gathered together to form a material which we called the gold. A unique eye looked for the horizon. After several lights years, hidden in the shade of nebulas, a movement was felt. First a low and stabbing wave burst. The eye feeds on this substance by crossing her, exploring him, caught in the verticality. The clash of the fragments and protuberances cause changes. The eye begins to change the properties of its optics. Elements mutate, melt themselves with other geometries, the texture of the world becomes tractable. Now eyes grow, he learns several dimensions. It was then he meets spirits, these transmit him the five movements of life, but they disappear and abandons him in the sidereal space.

Light is both the subject and the medium of this film which explores the emotional connections between light, place and memory. The story is driven by a soundtrack constructed from interviews in which people recall their experiences of light in the place where they grew up. This innovative fulldome film uses a data-set derived from observations of daylight as it’s visual foundation. The film was created using a range of digital imaging and editing techniques and features music by Richard Godbold and a 5.1 surround sound mix by Mike Wyeld. These elements combine to deliver evocative storytelling through an immersive audio visual experience.

Deep cyberspace is a void of opaque unknowns. Beyond the surface web, the 0.0018% that Google indexes and returns, lies the deep web. Exponential petabytes of bits, its databanks hum with vibrant activity. Through dark fibres and private pipes sinews strengthen and flex. It mediates, marshals and manages more and more. The infosphere-without-us emerges in these recesses.
Although this vibrant activity is not intended for all of us, if we look, it is still there for all to see. If the scale of the human-centric surface web to the machine-centric deep web is a sign of things to come, the M2M IoT, then its predominance is evident. Yet these machines openly communicate, they announce, their ports, their protocols.

Will man be able to control the technology he has created, or will the technology destroy him, his works, and with it the entire human race?

In dealing with the art/science/technology relationship and analyzing the thin line of the technoscientific spectrum with the artistic qualification, we observe that the representation and processing methods lead to an analysis of the circumstances and models established in the dynamics of technology and the segmentation of information in the Digital image. Through the use of algorithms it is possible to segment reality to condition an abstraction of the world, to virtualize it and expose it to the analysis where its technical possibilities as a procedural object are valued. Therefore to allude to the fragmented image, shaping the subjective vision of the Body and the perceived space resulting in a symbolic artistic image, it is in this way that through the microcellular morphology.

The woman’s body is in constant mutation. Through this short movie this mutability is represented. Travelling in an unknown space the female form is revealed: imposing yet mysteriously intangible.

The film proposes the construction of open topologies based on sound generated in the cosmos. As we begin with images of moving topologies, we seek to activate certain imagery that belongs to the celestial world, linking constellations to lines that intensify in kaleidoscopic movements. This proposal was developed by LabInter as a part of the project Taller Fulldome UVM 2015/2016 – Understanding Visual Music, organized by the Centro de Experimentación e Investigación en Artes Electrónicas de la Universidad Nacional de Tres de Febrero – CEIArtE/UNTREF and Planetário Galileo Galilei of the city of Buenos Aires.

The mating and crossing of animals of different species and provenances, form a new hybrid species that sometimes survives and is fertile, sometimes it is born with malformations and mutations and dies. The film is an exploration of a universe of light and sound that produces ephemeral beings that appear and disappear changing our world.

The idea of the fulldome movie is based on the concept of Sacred Geometry. In this direction we searched for the of words of Hermes Trismegistus “As above, so below, as within, so without, as the universe, so the soul…” to propose a time travel in to ancient cultures. The narrative of the video works with the concepts, symbology and elements of traditional knowledge and sacred geometry.

The Narrative of the film is based on the experience of Women’s Anxiety, it is split into three acts. The first is Rumination or over thinking which is illustrated with repetitive imagery, sound and voice. It then moves onto the Panic stage, where visuals and sound become fragmented and obscure – aiming to disorientate the viewer. The final act is intended to communicate the physical impacts of mental illness, when the experience finally starts to take control of the body.

Somebody is looking through a microscope, watching the world end. Slowly, understanding the vastness of existence contained inside a petri dish. Witnessing the Universe’s natural tendency into the chaos and decomposition of the systems. A tendency which manifests itself, regardless of how immense or how finite the system. For all that takes place under the microscope is nothing more than the reflection of what is projected up in the sky. An assertion, made visible under the lens: the destruction of the organic systems and with them, the rupture of the biological world as we know it.

This film addresses the issue of demarcation of indigenous lands in Brazil, which aims to guarantee indigenous land rights. This right has been massacred by the authorities, in order to promote agribusiness and the indiscriminate exploitation of the environment, removing the land and life of many traditional peoples of our country. The essence of this work is to merge the traditional aspects (graphics and visual elements of indigenous cultures) with 360º visual creation technologies, and the sound composition of the environment with songs and sounds of the forest remodeled by the processes of electroacoustics.

The film explores the concept of space in the digital sublime and its transformative effect on human consciousness. It is inspired by Krzhizhanovsky’s science fiction story ‘Quadraturin’ (1926) – which tells the story of an ordinary man living in a tiny room in a communal Soviet apartment and his encounter with a miracle product that promises to enlarge interior spaces. The piece takes the audience on a journey from structured form, through chaotic disarray and into new aesthetic resolution, and considers how sublime transcendental experience has modernised. As our pursuit towards sublimation continues, it is likely that our sense of self as a physical form will become abstracted into virtual space; these evolving cyber-realities reflect newfound ways of reaching our conscious self.

The film includes several concepts that have in common the notion of square in the geometrical sense. A mathematical function of the mixture where the design point is associated with an image. This immersive movie works on the idea of the movement where the public wonders about his own vision of reality and space.
